I am the flame in the wild - burning freely, glowing briliantly. I am a cataclysmic spectacle. I am the rain in the sky - always falling, never caught. I am a torrential downpour. I am the dust on the shelf - piling slowly, hiding silently. I am never noticed until I am gone.

We took each other hand in hand through our imaginations and left nothing to chance. From princes to rock stars. From puzzles to bread crumbs. From a moonlit hill to the edge of the galaxy. I'll never understand; was it love or obsession?

I always think and think. I think about a dream -- a dream about an "us" (a dream that never was).

Every time I close my eyes, I see your face. I don't want to anymore. We silently parted ways (what feels like) long ago. I longed for your embrace -- as I thought you longed for mine -- every time I saw your face, but then I wake up, disappointed as always. I don't want to anymore. I wonder if you let go, if you wanted to let go, if you ever felt as I did, if you've suffered as I have. Why can't I just let go? I don't want to anymore.

Thoughts of lying with you on top of a hill underneath the starry night sky keep racing through my head. There we are, alone together, staring into the atmosphere thinking of nothing more than what we would do to each other. By stroke of luck, you see a shooting star and make a wish, as you gently press your lips against mine. Satisfied and sleepy, I rest my head on your chest. The sound of your heartbeat could put me to sleep as I lie in your arms forever.

Years and years later, our love holds true. Did we think it would last this long? Probably not, but I had always hoped so. An eternity with you sounds easier and easier as time rolls on.

I want you to be more -- more than you could ever imagine, more than you or I could ever hope for you to be. I want you to be more than a dream.

Our relationship started from the heart. Both of us knew we never wanted to be apart, yet we were so far away. Hoping to see each other the next day, never wanting to say "good-bye," always wishing we had more time . . . Now our wishes have come true and we are two hearts together in our own world.

Tell me that you need me. Don't leave me hopeless. Tell me that you want me. Don't leave me restless. And don't you ever, ever leave.
